Will your sump pump run in a blackout?

There is a sump pump that runs with no electricity and no battery. I saw one recently.

I read the label and checked it out.

The pump uses water pressure from the municipal water supply to create a suction in the pipe to the sump pit. It will run whenever the float rises, forever; or at least for as long as there is municipal water flow.
